Athma reserves the right to add or remove products and Services from its overall offerings without prior notification. The above are collectively referred to as "Services".
By using the platform, providing us with your Personal Information, making use of the features provided by the platform, or making a payment to Athma, you provide your consent to the collection, storage, processing, disclosure, and transfer of your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable Indian data-privacy laws. If the user is below 18 years of age, the parent or guardian provides informed consent on the minor's behalf for treatment and for the handling of Personal Information as described here.

We also collect information from responses, in-app inputs, assessments, or feedback you send us.
We may use your Personal Information to identify and reach you; resolve service and billing queries; schedule, remind, or follow up on appointments; share further information about our programs; better understand patient needs; run anonymised statistical research; detect and protect against fraud; make legally required disclosures; and improve our website and mobile application(s).
Your information helps our Wellness Professionals assess your condition and recommend the most suitable rehabilitation program. On rare occasions we may use trusted third-party tools to support session delivery or in-app experience — in such cases, only the minimal information required is shared.
If your Personal Information changes, or you need to correct it or raise a grievance about how it is processed, write to info@athmamindcity.com and we will make reasonable efforts to incorporate the changes promptly. Some information, such as answers submitted to online assessments, cannot be edited once submitted; you may request its removal and we will accommodate this where we have no legal obligation to retain it.
Please note that certain records (payment history, feedback, clinical notes, etc.) must be retained for a pre-specified period under professional and legal standards, even after account deletion.

If there is a threat to the wellbeing of the client or others (including risk of harm to self or others), the Wellness Professional is obligated to share information with the clinical supervisor, emergency contacts, family, or, where necessary, law enforcement authorities. Similarly, knowledge of abuse involving minors, senior citizens, or persons with disabilities will be shared with the relevant authorities as required by law. Where a referral to another professional is needed, clinically relevant information may be shared with your consent. Aggregated or anonymised information may be used for research and audit purposes. If a patient is accessing family or couples-based rehabilitation programs, relevant Personal Information may be shared with the family members or partner involved in that care, with appropriate consent.
Athma does not sell or trade your Personal Information to third parties without advance notice. This does not apply to hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating the platform or servicing you. We may release information where required to comply with the law, protect our rights or the safety of others, or enforce our platform policies. Non-identifiable visitor information may be used for marketing or research purposes.
We employ administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect information under our control from unauthorised access, use, or disclosure, consistent with industry standards. None of our call or video consultations are recorded; in keeping with professional standards, Wellness Professionals may be required to maintain written records of sessions.
We strongly discourage posting Personal Information in public forums or comments on the platform. It is your responsibility to keep your email and phone messages secure — Athma will use these channels to communicate about your care and cannot be held liable if they are accessed by an unauthorised third party.
The platform may contain links to third-party sites that are not under Athma's control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such sites; please review their policies independently. Access to any linked third-party site is entirely at your own risk.
Athma reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. Where changes are significant, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via the website or by email before you continue using the platform. Continued use of our Services after such notice constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
This Policy has been drafted in accordance with Indian law. Any disputes arising between the user and Athma with regard to this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), Tamil Nadu, India.
